MSU: Worst of the Big Ten
I don't normally go in for Spartan bashing, but this one is too good to pass up. TNR's Jon Chait (a U-M and Michigan Daily alum) points out this great Radar feature on America's worst colleges. Michigan State is highlighted on the first page as the Worst of the Big Ten:

First off, this Radar 'publication' went out of business not too long ago, and is trying to get back on track. For all we know some Daily alum is behind this whole thing. Secondly, MSU is on the U.S. News & World Report's list of top universities. Lastly, MSU isn't even the lowest-ranking Big Ten school on the list. There is one tied in the same position and another one lower on the list.
